Fernie Wilderness Adventures offers a number of year-round guided activities for the outdoor enthusiast in the Elk Valley.

Winter activities include cat skiing, wildlife viewing and ice fishing. For the summer, Fernie Wilderness Adventures offers single or multi-day fly fishing and wildlife viewing excursions in the Kootenay's.

If you require accommodation, we also have a back country lodge for those wishing to have a more relaxed, peaceful stay in the area. We have a resident cook on site, serving home-style cooking and service.

Established in 1986, Fernie Wilderness Adventures is proud to continue serving new and repeat clients Kim and Deb Sedrovic, owners of Fernie Wilderness Adventures take great pride in offering their clients a relaxed and casual atmosphere in which they can enjoy their selected activity.

Kim has lived in the Elk Valley all his life. He has gained the knowledge and experience of the area by skiing the local mountains and fishing the rivers and streams all around the area. He was the Elk River’s first licensed angling guide. His love for the area is passed along to the clients he serves.

Deb manages her time in the office. This has allowed the company to retain the small family-owned quality that guests and staff appreciate.
